Billy & Kaila | Murrieta Wedding Photographer ~ part 2

October 21st, 2011

Here is the promised part 2 post for Billy and Kaila’s wedding day! I absolutely love this set we took and wanted to share several in the series. Billy and Kaila were so relaxed! They were totally savoring the day and celebrating being together. The way they look at each other is just perfect. There is no doubt that they are excited to be married!

Kaila is just dazzling – from her long lashes, to her bright blue eyes and gorgeous auburn hair . . .

Kaila had the most beautiful bouquet. It was lovingly made by her mom, making it extra special.

Great Kids! | Murrieta Family Photographer

October 17th, 2011

This is such a sweet family that I had the joy of spending some time with last week. They laughed with me (or maybe at me?!) all through the session. I especially loved how I could make Hannah totally crack up! She’s such a loving little girl.

While I know that the “regular photos” of kids giving hugs is what we put up on our walls, I love taking and having the photos of kids playing and being real. Even as they’re tackling each other, you can see how much fun these brothers have together and how much they love each other.

Allison was such a huge help to me during the session! As I was showing the smaller kids what I wanted them to do, she would pose with me to help them. Can you come along on my other shoots?! Plus, she’s beautiful!!

Okay, I know I’m supposed to show the next one in color, but for some reason, I just love this one in black and white!

What will they do when this smart older sister goes to college someday?? I think they’re going to miss her a TON!

Thanks E&M for asking me to capture these memories for you. You have four FANTASTIC kids!!

Henry at 5 months | Murrieta Baby Photographer

October 12th, 2011

I was so excited to meet little Henry and take his first official photo session! He is such a happy little baby. It was so easy to coax his smiles out – and as you can see he usually laughed at me too! Yes, Henry, I’m sure I do look funny.

We opted to do Henry’s session outdoors at a park, that way we could also get some natural “outdoorsy” shots too. Henry isn’t really sitting up on his own yet, but you could have fooled me with this next image. I think we caught him at just the right moment.

I also think he looks super cute lounging in his basket, though . . .

We wrapped up with a few family photos.

Thanks C&K! Henry is so precious and it was a joy to meet your family!!
